RECYCLING CONSULT

I am a consultant engineer, have a PhD in chemical engineering. I worked actually over eighteen years as a technical consultant in the management of waste recycling projects in Iraq, Poland, Gabon and UAE in addition to implementing feasibility studies for industrial projects. Along the period I supervised many technical tests to recycling some of solid waste over scales of pilot and mass production plants in Germany, Poland, Iraq and Sweden, as those efforts was crowned by awarding me three invention Patents in the field of solid waste recycling. The patents have been registered at the Board of Patent Owners in Geneva.

I am Iraqi, currently residing in the United Arab Emirates.

·         First invention patent  :     producing the raw material of explosives (Alpha cellulose fiber) from date palm trees waste.

·        Second invention patent : Recycling of date palm residue and wood scrap to produce Medium density Fiberboard (MDF).

·        Third invention patent  :     Producing high quality particle board from agricultural residue.

 Experience & Achievements

·    During the period of 1984 - 1991, I worked as a process engineer in the industrial complex of agricultural waste recycling in Iraq. My experience was grew immensely through my follow-up on-sites works. Also during that period I received much training in the management of solid waste recycling projects in Iraq, Russia, Sweden and Poland.

·  In 1988, I succeeded to produce "Alpha Cellulose fiber" from the waste of date palm trees that was used then as a raw material for manufacturing of explosives. As a result of that achievement, the Iraqi government signed a contract with a Russian company to set up a complete production plant for manufacturing of explosives from palm trees waste. (The plant was run successfully on 1990 for seven months and then destroyed completely during the Second Gulf War).

·   In 1990, I participated in an international conference held for owners of invention patents in Geneva / Switzerland.

·   From 1992 to 1995, I supervised the building up works then management of the first solid waste collection and sorting plant in Iraq (Babylon Project) which was built through a contract with a Japanese consulting company.

·   In 1996, I participated in an international conference held for owners of invention patents in Brussels / Belgium.

  ·  In 1996, commissioned by the Ministry of Industry in Iraq, I supervised the updating of feasibility studies of some projects

     belongs to the government like MDF plant, Rubber reinforced hoses plant and paper recycling plant in Iraq, with proposing

     plans to improve productivity and product marketing strategy.

·  1997 – 1999, I worked as a technical engineer in the solid waste collection project in Przemysl – Poland (a government project of experimental scale).

·   From 2000 to 2002, I worked with Al Ghurair Investment group in Dubai – UAE as a technical consultant in their investment project of collection and sorting of agricultural waste in Gabon.

·   Along the period of 2002 – 2006, I worked as a technical consultant in the Bureau of the President Representative of UAE in the Eastern Province, (office of Eng. Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnon Al Nahian) to prepare for a feasibility study of  a project of recycling the palm and other agricultural waste by cooperation with experts from Germany and Italy.

 ·   In 2008, where I worked as a technical consultant of the General Holding Corporation in Abu Dhabi, I was invited two times

     by the German company "Dieffenbacher Gmbh", to assist as a consultant engineer for carrying out recycling tests

     of some defined solid wastes in the pilot plant of WKI research institute in Fraunhofer – Germany.
